Yesterday, June 27, 2011, Daniel Radcliffe was honored by The Trevor Project with the Trevor Hero Award during "Trevor LIVE" at Capitale, presented by ING. Here, we bring you special coverage from the Red Carpet with interviews by Broadway Beat's Richie Ridge with Daniel Radcliffe and more!

Each year following Pride, The Trevor Project, the leading crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, brings together top talent to celebrate and honor leaders and role models for LGBTQ young people. This high-profile event has honored actors and comedians including Kathy Griffin, Neil Patrick Harris and Vanessa Williams and corporate trailblazers such as Levi Strauss & Co., Wells Fargo Bank and CNN for their support of LGBTQ youth.

A star of stage and screen, Radcliffe has been involved with The Trevor Project since 2009, appearing in public service announcements and making public statements in support of LGBTQ youth. The Trevor Hero Award recognizes an individual who serves as an inspiration to sexual minority youth and increases visibility and understanding of the LGBTQ community. He is currently starring on Broadway in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. He was presented his award by co-star John Larroquette.

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crisis intervention and suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ youth. Every day, The Trevor Project saves young lives through its free and confidential lifeline, in-school workshops, educational materials, online resources and advocacy.
