Alec Baldwin, Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Sudeikis Join DOWNSIZING Film

TheWrap writes that stage vets Alec Baldwin and Neil Patrick Harris, along with SNL alum Jason Sudeikis, have signed on for Alexander Payne's upcoming film DOWNSIZING. The trio will join Matt Damon and Reese Witherspoon in the cast.

DOWNSIZING is "the story of a man, down on his luck, who decides he can have a better life if he undergoes a process to shrink himself."

Baldwin's upcoming big screen projects include Andron - The Black Labyrinth, Mission: Impossible 5 and more. He recently starred in the films Still Alice and Blue Jasmine. The actor also appeared on Broadway last year in Orphans, and before that, starred onstage in Twentieth Century, A Streetcar Named Desire, Serious Money and Loot.

Harris, who will host this year's Oscars ceremony, recently appeared in an arc on FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show. The actor working on Disney's The Good Dinosaur and last appeared on the big screen in Gone Girl and A Million Ways to Die in the West. Harris is well known for his portrayal of 'Barney Stinson' in the long-running sitcom How I Met Your Mother. He recently finished a Tony-winning run in Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Among his other theatre credits are Assassins, Proof and Cabaret.

Coming off Horrible Bosses 2, Sudeikis will next be seen in the movies Sleeping with Other People, Tumbledown, Masterminds, Race and The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. His TV credits include Eastbound & Down, The Cleveland Show, SNL, 30 Rock and more.
