Adam Pascal & Tracie Thoms Set for Baltimore Benefit, 5/12

Adam Pascal and Tracie Thoms, who appeared as Roger and Joanne respectively in the film version of Rent, will perform at Baltimore's Centerstage on May 12th, as part of the theatre's Annual Benefit Gala.

Pascal earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for originating the role of Roger in Rent. He won a Drama League Award for his performance as Radames in Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida and was also seen as the Emcee in the Broadway revival of Cabaret.  A rock singer who has fronted bands since the age of 12, Pascal has also released two albums of original rock music, "Model Prisoner" and "Civilian," both on Sh-K- Boom Records. On screen, he has also been seen in School of Rock and SLC Punk!.

Thoms, who has appeared on such TV shows as "The Shield," "Brother to Brother" and "Wonderfalls," has appeared on Broadway in Drowning Crow, Off-Broadway in The Exonerated and Up Against the Wind, and regionally in such productions as A Raisin in the Sun, Joe Turner's Come and Gone, and Hair, for which she received a Helen Hayes Award nomination.

There will be dinner, dancing and a silent auction.
