Join the Garden State Beard and Mustache Society at the Morris Museum for the Third Annual Night of Bourbon and Beards. Featuring tasty food and spirits, live music, and a beard and mustache competition, the event will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 6:30PM.

We will kick off the evening with great food and drinks supplied by local favorites. A selection of spirits, including Crossroads Bourbon, Equinox Gin, and Jersey Pumpkin Hooch, will be provided by Jersey Spirits Distillery Co. The Tipsy Penguin will be serving up two cocktails: The 5 O'clockShadow and The Burly Beard. Food will be provided by Tito's Burritos and Wings, The Taco Truck of Morristown and others.

The highlight of the evening will be a beard and mustache contest. This year's categories are Mightiest Mustache of the Museum, Exhibition Worthy Beard, November Newbie and Faux Fuzz. The competition will be judged by Garden State Beard and Mustache members Jeff Bittner, Chris Porrovecchio, and Jodi Walker.

A Night of Bourbon and Beards will also feature exclusive samples from the Art of Shaving and Big Slick Pomade, and complimentary services by The American Shave. Throughout the evening, The Black Flamingos will fill the Museum with their signature Surf Rock sound. The event will end with fun keepsake photos and one lucky guest will win the 50/50 raffle.

A Night of Bourbon and Beards is being held in conjunction with the Museum's current exhibition, Jersey Spirits: Prohibition from Flappers to Bootleggers. Featuring fashions of the Roaring 20's, authentic barware and flasks, and historic photographs, the show explores the tumultuous Prohibition era in the Garden State. Jersey Spirits is on view through December 11, 2016.
