FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade, in association with Wish Experience, presents A BRIEF HISTORY OF BEER: For the Love of Beer!, featuring Trish Parry on Saturday, February 11 at UNDER St. Marks.

It's nearly Valentine's Day, and Captain Trish's trusted comrade-in-arms Science Officer Will has been kidnapped by Darth Bud! Looks like she'll have to make do on the love of beer alone! A preview for A Brief History of Beer's coming run at the Adelaide Fringe, with parody songs in the romantic spirit like I Just Cracked Open a Beer and I Would Do Anything for Beer, a visit from Paul Hogan, and plenty of other new shenanigans the Wish team has brewed up for you.

"Having enjoyed a two-year run at UNDER St. Marks, A Brief History of Beer has become an East Village (and Off-Off-Broadway) mainstay...The type of communal drinking that this show encourages is a fantastic alternative to drinking at home or in a regular bar, so if beer-drinking is one of your favorite weekend pastimes, you should definitely give this quirky show a try."

Created, written and performed by William Glenn and Trish Parry. The creators have been inducted into the British Guild of Beer Writers in acknowledgement of the show, and Trish is also a member of the Pink Boots Society.

A Brief History of Beer is performed at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) select Saturdays of the month (except March 2016) at 10:30pm. Tickets ($12) are available online at www.horseTRADE.info.
