Santa Fe Woman's Club Theater presents a staged reading of a new play: I KILLED MUSSOLINI by local playwright, Michael Burgan and directed by Kathi Collins.

I KILLED MUSSOLINI is a play set in both 1998 and 1942. Papa Sal startles his grandson Danny when he declares that he killed Mussolini and spent time locked up as an enemy alien during World War II. Based on actual events, I KILLED MUSSOLINI explores the immigrant experience and how the country reacts to security threats--real or imagined--during wartime.

The outstanding cast includes: Joey Beth Gilbert, Larry Glaister, Tristan Van Cleve, Jeff Nell, Hamilton Turner, Steven Oakey, Christina Smith, and Rachel Kowarski.

The show premieres Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 7 pm at the Santa Fe Woman's Club Theater, 1616 Old Pecos Trail, Santa Fe, NM and will play again on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 6 pm at Teatro Paraguas, 3205 Calle Marie, Santa Fe, NM. Admission by donation. Call 505-989-5026 for information.
