No Strings Theatre Company will present their Twelfth Annual production of A.R. Gurney's 1988 show "Love Letters" with one performance on Valentine's Day, Tuesday, February 14 at 7:00 pm at the Black Box Theatre, 430 N Downtown Mall in Las Cruces. No Strings Theatre Company's annual production features a different couple each year. Karen and Alan Caroe star in the 2012 production of this delightful two-character play which chronicles the life-long relationship between a man and a woman solely through their correspondence.

About the show: "Love Letters" tells the story of Andrew Makepeace Ladd and Melissa Gardner, whose poignantly funny friendship and ill-fated romance takes them from second grade through adolescence, maturity, and middle age. Love Letters has gained a unique reputation all over the United States and overseas owing to the celebrity casts who performed it throughout the 1990s. It is a truly unique and imagiNative Theatre piece which, in the words of playwright Gurney, "needs no theatre, no lengthy rehearsal, no special set, no memorization of lines, and no commitment from its two actors beyond the night of performance." The letters, as the actors read them aloud, create an evocative, touching, frequently funny, but always telling pair of character studies.

Refreshments will be served after the performances of "Love Letters." Tickets are $10.00 regular and $9.00 students and seniors over 65. and may be reserved by calling (575)-523-1223. Reservations are highly recommended as space is limited.
