Roundabout Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Amy and the Orphans by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Scott Ellis. The cast includes Vanessa Aspillaga as 'Kathy,' Mark Blum as 'Jacob,' Jamie Brewer as 'Amy,' Diane Davisas 'Sarah,' Josh McDermitt as 'Bobby' and Debra Monk as 'Maggie.' Amy and the Orphans opened officially last night at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This will be a limited engagement through April 22, 2018.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) held its annual 2018 Gala honoring Tony, Academy, Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre on Monday, February 26, 2018 in the new Ziegfeld Ballroom (141 W 54th St, NYC).

Redhouse Arts Center is thrilled to inaugurate its new City Center home with Ernest Thompson's classic On Golden Pond. Performances will take place March 8-18, 2018 and will mark the first performances at the brand new Redhouse at City Center, located at 400 South Salina Street, which boasts three new theatres, an attached parking garage, full service concession, larger lobby space, and much, much more. The show will feature actor and TV star Fred Grandy, lovingly know as "Gopher" by his millions of fans around the world who watched him on the long-running TV Series The Love Boat. On Golden Pond was adapted to an academy award winning movie in 1981 which starred Henry Fonda who won the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Actor in what was his final film role. Former theatrical and motion picture talent agent Jeff Hunter died on Saturday, January 27, at age 91.

The stars turned out to lend a hand to the event, founded by Peters and and Mary Tyler Moore, and to introduce the crowd to some furry new friends for the taking. The 19th annual Broadway Barks, the star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies, will feature celebrities from the hottest shows currently on Broadway. Today's event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will take place in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenues). Festivities begin at 3 p.m.; celebrity presentations of adoptable pets take place between 5-6:30 p.m. The rain or shine event is free and open to the public.

Bernadette Peters and Broadway Barks have established the annual Mary Tyler Moore Award, which will be given out each year at the event to an individual or group who has changed the lives of homeless animals in a way that encourages others to do the same.
