Traveling Players Ensemble in Washington, DC
Called "1 of 25 Summer Schools for the Arts" by the National Endowment for the Arts, Traveling Players Ensemble is an educational theatre company dedicated to training through classes, performances, and summer camps & conservatories.
Our programs are small by design. Each cast or class is limited to 13-14 actors and 2-3 tech students, ensuring everyone receives exceptional, individualized training. The result? Real transformation, a tight & supportive ensemble, and a 70% retention rate. Each cast only has 13-14 actors and 2-3 tech students, ensuring everyone receives exceptional, individualized training. Our students don’t just shine on stage, however. They shine off stage – with remarkable growth in independence, confidence, and close friendships that truly last – throughout middle and high school, and into college. Our holistic acting programs simultaneously ground kids in a connected community while expanding their understanding of the world. That’s the Traveling Players difference. Advanced Shakespeare Conservatory for grades 9-12
Perform Shakespeare on professional stages all over Virginia!
The NEA identified Shakespeare Troupe as "offering challenges unlike any other pre-college theatre program in the nation."
