Follow Lucy Maughan as she takes you on a journey from her small seaside town to the big city. Ascent is a heartfelt insight into one womans search for purpose and meaning. Enjoy an evening of shattered class and a whole lot of laughs as Lucy tries to navigate through the social void. She never thought she'd regret swapping the cider for champagne but it just don't taste the same.

Find out more about Lucy Loughanne

Lucy Loughanne is a Welsh actor and theatre maker who wants to amplify the voices of the working class and make complex subjects accessible. Lucy trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where she began writing a play tackling social mobility and class identity. After graduating, Lucy collaborated with Joseph Ward, a Scottish writer/director, and they have been developing Ascent for the last few months. Joseph trained at the Drama Centre London and has written and directed several plays across London including Disc Jockey and The ADHD Chronicles.
