A Terrible Show for Terrible People is a silent, physical clown show with 1 performer and only 2 spoken words. It is suitable for perverts, feminists and your mom (not mutually exclusive). It's Mr. Bean if he were a sexy lady. Fest magazine described it as "Benny Hill meets surprisingly friendly sex dungeon." And one audience member proclaimed, "Well, that was a fetish I didn't know I had." Warning: There are scenes of a sexual nature and some audience participation.
A Terrible Show received the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe Total Sell-Out laurels after selling out every night in its 23-show run. It also won Fringiest Show at the 2023 Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest, Best Comedy at the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival and Craziest Solo Show at the 2019 Crazy Woke Asians Solo Performance Festival. The show has toured nationally from Second City Hollywood's Los Angeles Diversity in Comedy Festival to The Brick's NY Clown Theatre Festival. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Drayton Arms will be A Terrible Show's first stop on its 2024 U.K. tour.

August 30, 2022Portsmouth Road Productions has announced rehearsed readings of two new plays at The Drayton Arms Theatre. The Contrarian written by Richard Toye and Bodkins Beans written by Scott Younger will be presented on the 2nd and 3rd October.
