Apparantely audiences are regulary walking out demanding refunds due to high temperatures in the theatre

Didn't The Producers give out fans when it was playing there and I am sure I have heard of water being given away free too.

It is tricky in a building of that age, not designed for the technology used today which causes so much heat. It really needs to be sorted out though

And all that money he has and he cant put in a decent air con system.
DONT listen to the reports that because a theatre is a listed building they cant or have to be careful how they install a new system. English Heritage and The Theatres Trust are all for the installation of air con, as when its installed it means that the theatre itself gets a makeover which is the part ALW and co. don't want to pay for.
Theatre managers/ landlords just don't want to fork out the cash.
This problem is far from just 'Oliver!', its decades old in all theatres.
