Yes, London has a vibrant fringe theatre scene.

Off Broadway and London Fringe are slightly different in that Fringe in London is either amature or pro-am.

I would look at London Theatres like the Almeida, Hampstead, Gate, Bush etc. for the closest match to Off Broadway.

Not quite - but they do have an excellent programme of Drama and Music.

The Orange Tree in Richmond (award winning venue today!) is also worth a look.
