Young Americans is a cross-country intergenerational dramedy by Lauren Yee. The story follows Joe and Jenny, a young immigrant couple, on a road trip to their new home, weaving in decades later when Joe retraces that journey with their daughter, Lucy. As the parallel trips highlight a family's past and connections, returning 1st Stage artists Jasmine Joy Brooks, Surasree Das, and Shawn Sebastian Naar bring their characters to life under the direction of Nikki Mirza. The production runs at 1st Stage from April 9 to April 26, 2026.
