The discussion explores Chen's creative writing process and the ways contemporary AAPI voices are reshaping the stage. The event concludes with an optional preview performance of The Motion, running May 6 – June 14, 2026, on the Fichandler Stage at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater.
