Based on Victor Hugo's novel and songs from the Disney film, The Arlington Players' production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame will transport you into the heart of Paris. Audiences will be swept away by this story of love, acceptance, and what it means to be a hero.
Quasimodo – who is deaf in the original novel – will be played by deaf actor Alex Bryce. Actor Alden Michels joins him in the role as Quasimodo's "voice" in songs. The show examines the role of those with disabilities or differences in our society.
Performances of The Hunchback of Notre Dame are set for weekends, October 5-20. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8:00 PM; Sunday matinees begin at 2:30 PM. The October 13 performance will be ASL interpreted. For more information and tickets, visit www.thearlingtonplayers.org. Enter promo code BWWbells to save $1.00.
