A modern world premiere restoring the alliance of Madame de Pompadour and Jean-Philippe Rameau to the stage for the first time since 1748, following Cupid as he rearranges the love and lust of Uranie, Adonis, and Venus. The fully-staged baroque opera features soprano Kayleigh Sprouse, soprano Elizabeth Sutphen, soprano Emilie Kealiani, and bass-baritone Phillip Lopez. Presented by Opera Lafayette under Artistic Director Patrick Quigley as part of their 32nd season, Crazy in Love.
