Adapted from the beloved 2003 novel by Michael Morpurgo, this one-man show is about a fictional young soldier (Pvt. Thomas “Tommo” Peaceful) who is looking back on his life so far and his entering the First World War. The story focuses on the harsh realities of English rural life and warfare. These special performances will take place at the VTSU Casella Theatre (45 Alumni Drive - Castleton, VT) on February 5, 2026 (12:30pm and 7pm). Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, and are available in advance at by calling the VTSU Castleton Fine Arts Center Box Office (802-468-1119) or in-person day of show at the VTSU Castleton Fine Arts Center Box Office.
