The Kruger Brothers return to the Vergennes Opera House on May 1 to close out the 2025-2026 season. Brothers Jens Kruger (banjo and vocals) and Uwe Kruger (guitar and lead vocals), along with Joel Landsberg (bass and vocals) and mandolinist Jonah Horton, bring a sound that blends classical music with folk and bluegrass. Born in Europe and now based in Wilkesboro, NC, the group has built an extensive list of achievements, including a 2025 induction into the Blue Ridge Hall of Fame and a 2024 debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage. The performance is made possible by an anonymous local couple who also underwrote the group's 2024 appearance at the venue.
