BROADWAY IN CARACAS will perform at the Centro Cultural on September 10 and 17. The Centro Cultural is located in Caracas, and is host to a number of other facilities including a penthouse, open rooms for concerts or fairs, and experimental rooms for presentations or speeches. BROADWAY IN CARACAS will be performed in the Concert Hall.

The show features songs from a variety of Broadway shows, including Evita, The Drowsy Chaperone, Cats, Sound of Music, The King And I, Man of La Mancha, South Pacific, The Phantom Of The Opera, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Chicago, and Les Miserable.

Singer-songwriter Mirna Rios will star in the show alongside Gerardo Soto and Sandra Yajure. The show is produced by Magdalena Frometa and Federico Pacanins, with musical direction by Jesus Rafael Perez.

BROADWAY IN CARACAS tells the humorous and touching story of a woman (Mirna Rios) who, from her lonely apartment, remembers some of the most defining moments of her life through her favorite musical works.

Pacanins told eluniversal.com, "Ríos is able to make the audience travel with her to the most imposing stages of Manhattan while singing pieces like 'Memory' and revealing her past, in fact, for some subjects, it disguises the character and everything looks as if you really were there, in the American city."
