The VSO Youth Virtuosi, USA is a premier all-star ensemble made up of 60 exceptional student musicians from 11 Southwest Washington schools, performing on the main stage on Saturday, August 8. The ensemble is conducted by Maestro Ken Selden and Maestro Gerard Schwarz, with cellist Julian Schwarz as featured soloist. The program includes Sibelius's Finlandia, Bruch's Kol Nidrei, Popper's Hungarian Rhapsody, and movements from Bizet's Carmen.
