The Museum of Anthropology at UBC presents an exhibition featuring the renowned Indigenous artist Rebecca Belmore, showcasing her significant works from a career spanning four decades. Titled VALUE: Rebecca Belmore, the exhibition invites reflection on colonialism and contemporary social structures through four large-scale installations, including notable pieces like Fountain and Wild. Curated by Jeffrey Boone, the exhibition aims to challenge visitors' understanding of value in relation to land, water, and cultural identity. The exhibition runs from May 15 to October 19, 2025, and will also include the first-ever display of Ayum-ee-aawach Oomama-mowan: Speaking to their Mother in Vancouver.
