Urban Ink’s TRANSFORM Festival returns, in collaboration with The Cultch, for its sixth year with its biggest and boldest lineup yet, on stage from November 6-8 and 14 & 15, 2025 at the Vancouver Playhouse. The cabaret-style festival features Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists spanning live music, drag, dance, circus, and theatre - breaking boundaries through collaboration and experimentation. Highlights include: Opening and Closing BASH! hosted by season 5 Canada’s Drag Race star and 2SLGBTQIA+ community advocate, Jaylene Tyme; The Starwalker Experience, a multi-disciplinary concert that blends live band, drag performance, and film clip integration in celebration of the music from the award-winning film Starwalker; the first live performance workshop production of Wolf Cull, a new Indigenous one-act thriller by playwright Cheyenne Scott; a highly anticipated vocal performance by Rebecca Strong, the first Indigenous woman to win Canada’s Got Talent; and the return of JUNO-nominated cellist and composer Cris Derksen with the world premiere concert Where The Rivers Meet. Tickets from $19 and FREE for Indigenous patrons (use code INDIGENOUS). For details please visit transformfestival.ca
