Cecily Hitchcock is a comedy siren and crowd enchantress. In her debut hour she revisits childhood in early-2000s Britain - when the financial crash hummed in the background and life was noisy and confusing. Seen through a child’s lens trying to make sense and silliness out of it all, everyday figures became unlikely idols, familiar scenes twisted into epic dramas, and the ordinary warped into something absurd.
