Letters Live, the one-of-a-kind celebration of the power of written correspondence, returns for an unforgettable show marking Earth Day, in support of Greenpeace.
Renowned for its moving performances of extraordinary letters from across the globe and throughout history, Letters Live once again promises a distinctive and deeply moving night, bringing remarkable words to life on stage.
Since its launch in 2013, the series has welcomed an exceptional roll call of readers that are always revealed on the night - from Olivia Colman, Stephen Fry, Benedict Cumberbatch, Adwoa Aboah, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Elif Shafak, Gillian Anderson, Tom Hiddleston, Sharon Horgan to Geri Halliwell.
Alongside musical performances from artists such as Thom Yorke, Sampha, Anoushka Shankar and PJ Harvey. By turns humorous, intimate and heart-rending, the letters span centuries and continents, offering moments of laughter, reflection and profound emotional connection.
This special performance is held in aid of Greenpeace, an independent movement of people who defend the natural world. Their vision is a world where everyone has equal access to clean air, water and energy; where the nature we love is protected, precious habitats are restored and communities are united by ambitious climate action.
