Four seasons, four people, from four corners of the world collide. The strange city folds and unfolds around them, a story that opens up like a book to get lost in.Set against the backdrop of Byker this powerful new play, HERE, by Lindsay Rodden is about finding sanctuary in the unlikeliest of places. About dancing on rooftops, blossom in winter, and re-writing the story of the city as your own. About two best friends with a library card, and the power they summon through friendship and books to make something magical. To say WE WERE HERE.HERE is part of The Arriving Project Curious Monkeys ongoing work with people seeking sanctuary in the UK, who have come from all over the world.

RED SKY AT NIGHT Will Tour Beginning in May
April 20, 2022 The prolific Huddersfield theatre company Mikron is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary tour this May with the premiere of Red Sky at Night, Lindsay Rodden's (Here, Northern Stage and Curious Monkey and The Story Giant, Everyman Theatre Liverpool) new play about the nation's obsession with the wild and wonderful world of weather.

February 01, 2022 Mikron Theatre, one of the country's most versatile touring theatre companies, is delighted to announce that from April it will commence its celebrations of 50 years of touring on the river and by road with the premiere of Red Sky At Night, Lindsay Rodden's new play about the nation's obsession with the wild and wonderful world of weather, and a remount of the acclaimed Yorkshire theatre company's hugely successful 2015 production of Maeve Larkin's play about the Women's Institute- Raising Agents.About the Theatre
