The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is pleased to announce auditions for William Inge's American classic play "Bus Stop" on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 6:00 PM. The cast includes: Five men and three women, ranging in age from late teen's to 50's. The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. Actors should also have a prepared monologue.

During a howling snowstorm, a busload of weary travelers must hole up at a roadside diner until morning. A nightclub singer named Cherie has been kidnapped by a young cowboy who is ready to sling her over his shoulder and carry her, kicking and screaming, down the aisle. Overnight, the cafe owner and the bus driver explore a long-overdue friendship, a middle-aged scholar faces his past, and a small-town girl gets her first taste of romance.

Directed by Bob Papisan, this will be the fourth production of BACP'S 30th Season - "Lust, Laughs and Love" The first of six performances is scheduled for Friday, February 5th,2009.
