Heller Theatre Seeks Props and Actors for THE EXONERATED And RABBIT HOLE

Heller Theatre is having a second open audition at its new location for THE EXONERATED by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen.  THE EXONERATED tells the true stories of six former Death Row prisoners who were released from prison after their convictions were reversed. This drama examines their false accusations, wrongful convictions, and eventual exoneration. George Romero directs.

 

Needed are:
One African American woman - age 20s-40s
Two Caucasian women - age 30s-50s
One African American man - age 50s-60s
Two African American men - age 20s-40s
Four Caucasian men - age 30s-50s

Performances are October 23-24, 29-31 at 8:00 pm, and Sunday, November 1 at 2:00 pm. Heller Theatre at Henthorne Park is located at 4825 S. Quaker Ave. Tulsa, OK 74105


Additionally, for the upcoming production of RABBIT HOLE, there are remaining prop and food items which are still needed:

Boy's clothing, 4 yrs of age
Boy's pair of shoes
Toys - need one that makes noise
Birthday candles (i can buy these if nothing else)
Bag of dog food - can be an empty one and we'll put something in it...

Food Items:
12 creme caramels per weekend, total of 24
6 birthday cakes, nicely decorated
Lemon squares - could probably do one batch per weekend

Heller Theatre is a member of the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association and the Tulsa Area Community Theatre Alliance

Heller Theatre is part of the Park and Recreation Department of the City of Tulsa. Heller has been producing contemporary plays since 1981. The same three member staff, Julie Tattershall, Frank Gallagher and Erin Scarberry operates and manages both Clark Theatre and Heller Theatre.
