Shakespeare's Globe heeft de cast en creatieve team van Love's Labour's Lost aangekondigd in The Globe Theatre, dat loopt van 17 juli – 13 september 2026, geregisseerd door de Globe Associate Artist Indiana Lown-Collins in haar debuut als regisseur bij de Globe.
De cast zal bestaan uit Daniel Abbott als Mozo de Espadas, Suzanne Ahmet als Katherine/Nathaniela, Philip Arditti als Berowne, Zannie Benfield als Marcadé, Ned Costello als Koning van Navarre, Andro Crespo als Don Adriano de Armado, Daniel Crossley als Boyet/Anthony Dull, Jax Guerrero als Dumaine/Moth, Joshua Hill als Costard, Philip Labey als Longaville, Jimena Larraguivel als Jaquenetta, Norah Lopez Holden als Prinses, Bea Segura als Rosaline, en Katy Stephens als Maria/Holofernes.
Shakespeare's zelden opgevoerde komedie over liefde, verlangen en geestigheid wordt opnieuw voorgesteld in een vlammend, flamenco-geïnspireerde productie, en zal flamenco-dansers Pablo Egea en Anita La Maltesa, en flamenco-zanger Carlos Lobo Cordón bevatten in de productie naast de cast.
Regisseur Indiana Lown-Collins zegt: “Ik ben dolblij om samen te werken met zo'n buitengewone cast en creatief team om dit gepassioneerde verhaal tot leven te brengen. Deze productie brengt de ritme en menselijkheid van zowel Shakespeare als Flamenco samen, en het verkennen van waar die artistieke talen ontmoeten binnen de unieke ruimte van de Houten ‘O', met deze prachtige groep, voelt ongelooflijk speciaal.”
