This year's theme focuses on the Black body as a vessel of memories and the transformative power of movement. The festival features a variety of performances, workshops, and a panel discussion with contributions from choreographers such as Shérane Figaro, I’thandi Munro, and Olivia Okonkwo. Curator Lua Shayenne aims to highlight the artistic excellence of women from African and Afro-diasporic cultures while fostering community engagement and exploration of diverse dance forms.
