The CosmiKids is a new Canadian musical with book and lyrics by Bonnie Duff and music and lyrics by Jake Schindler. Set in the year 2052, it follows a team of child astronauts whose routine mission becomes an intergalactic adventure involving black holes, alien encounters, and a planet-sized cat. The show is performed by Bravo Academy's Junior Troupe, featuring performers ages 8 to 11, under the direction of Lynn Weintraub, with choreography by Jenna Purther, music direction by Andrew Lowe, and artistic direction by Melissa Bencic. The production was first workshopped during Bravo Academy's 2024 Youth New Musical Theatre Intensive.
