The Civic Light Opera-Co. closes its 40th anniversary season with Man of La Mancha, one of the most successful musicals in Broadway history. It plays Wednesdays-Sundays from June 5-16 at Zion Cultural Centre (Finch and Don Mills). Inspired by Miguel de Cervantes 17th C. masterpiece Don Quixote, Man of La Mancha is powerful, hilarious and heartbreaking, and its celebrated score features the blockbuster hit The Impossible Dream. Stars Joe Cascone, David Haines, Olivia Jon and Bob Deutsch. Performances: Wednesdays, June 5 and 12 at 7 pm/Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 pm, June 6-8 and 13-15/ Sunday matinees at 2 pm, June 9 (sold out) and 16.
