Sharon Hampson to Join Laurie Berkner for Special Toronto Concert
The family music icons will perform together for the first time at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in July.
Children's music favorites Laurie Berkner and Sharon Hampson will perform together for the first time when Hampson joins Berkner as a special guest during Laurie Berkner's Greatest Hits concert on Saturday, July 11 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto.
The event marks Berkner's first concert appearance in Canada in more than 20 years. Hampson will be joined by her daughter and longtime collaborator Randi Hampson for the special appearance.
"I feel so lucky that Sharon and Randi have agreed to join me onstage in Toronto for a few songs!" Berkner said. "Sharon (along with Lois and Bram) is understandably a trailblazer in the world of independent children's music and has such an incredible history of bringing joy and playfulness through music to her audience. I'm honored to get to sing with her and Randi, and thrilled to provide such a special treat for the families who come to the show!"

Berkner's concert will feature songs spanning nearly three decades of family entertainment, including favorites such as "Victor Vito," "Bumblebee (Buzz Buzz)," "We Are The Dinosaurs," "Rocketship Run," and "The Goldfish (Let's Go Swimming)." Audiences will also hear selections from her upcoming album Walking With The Penguins, including "Walking With The Penguins" and "Everyone's Demanding Bananas."
Fans can also expect special collaborations featuring Sharon and Randi Hampson, including a performance of the Sharon, Lois & Bram classic "Skinnamarink."
Widely regarded as one of the most successful independent children's musicians of her generation, Berkner has amassed more than 1.7 billion streams and hundreds of millions of YouTube views throughout her career. Her songs have become staples for families around the world, earning praise from publications including The New York Times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal.
Hampson, meanwhile, remains one of the most beloved figures in children's entertainment through her work with Sharon Lois and Bram. Over nearly five decades, the trio released dozens of albums and starred in the popular television series The Elephant Show and Skinnamarink TV. Their influence continues to resonate with multiple generations of families, with their music recently finding new audiences through social media and streaming platforms.
