The award-winning international phenomenon THE X FACTOR has concluded its domestic run after three seasons, it was announced today by Syco, FremantleMedia North America and Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX).
According to Deadline, the notorious TV and music industry insider has confirmed that he will return to the UK edition of The X Factor for its next season, leaving his post on the U.S. judging panel after mounting it on Fox three years ago.
The Top Three acts moving on to next week's grand finale on THE X FACTOR are: Paulina Rubio's Boys – Carlito Olivero; Kelly Rowland's Over 25s – Jeff Gutt; and Simon Cowell's Groups – Alex & Sierra.

The Daily Mail reports that Simon Cowell has finally cast the actor who will portray him in the new X FACTOR musical I CAN'T SING, set to begin performances at the London Palladium on February 27. It's Nigel Harman, who won an Olivier for his role as 'Lord Farquaad' in SHREK THE MUSICAL in the West End. In addition, Cynthia Erivo, currently starring in Menier Chocolate Factory's revival of THE COLOR PURPLE, has been cast in the lead.
Simon Cowell will be surrounded by women when The X Factor returns for its third season this fall on FOX. Stage Entertainment UK and Syco Entertainment's X Factor musical, now titled I CAN'T SING!, will make its official debut at the Palladium on March 26, 2014, with previews beginning in February.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry Hill and Steve Brown's 16 million dollar new musical X Factor -- It's Time To Face The Musical! has been given the go-ahead by Stage Entertainment and Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment. Casting will commence in May, with rehearsals slated for next winter at the London Palladium.
The X Factor breakout band Emblem3 immediately sell-out shows across the US. The band kicked off their sold-out West Coast tour dates this Wednesday February 27 in Los Angeles at the Roxy to a packed house that saw fans sleeping overnight to get a prime spot in front of the stage. Their just announced East Coast tour dates went on sale this weekend and were immediate sell-outs. The sell-out demanded a second show to be added in Chicago which also sold-out instantly. The tour kicks off in Philadelphia on March 20 (see below for full dates.)
Emblem3 kick off their sold-out west coast tour dates this Wednesday, February 27 in Los Angeles at the Roxy. Overwhelming fan demand caused the tickets to sell out in under a minute, and the X Factor breakout band are pleased to announce that they will now be heading to the east coast for a run of dates. Today, Fox chairman Kevin Reilly spoke about the upcoming third season of THE X FACTOR at the TCA, and claims that neither he nor Simon Cowell have discussed potential openings on the judge's panel (aside from L.A. Reid, who will most definitely not be back).

Broadway starlet Carly Rose Sonenclar may not have taken the top spot on THE X FACTOR, but she undoubtedly went out with a bang. Sonenclar performed two songs on last night's finale, including a duet with winner Tate Stevens.
