There have been many questions and rumors regarding the fate of three of GLEE's main characters: Rachel (played by Broadway veteran Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith) and Kurt (Chris Colfer). GLEE creator Ryan Murphy had said in an interview that the trio would be leaving the series at the end of the third season. During that early July interview, Murphy stated that the characters were 'not going to be back at all for season 4.' THE GLEE PROJECT contestants this week were assigned Cyndi Lauper's 'True Colors' as their homework assignment, with the challenge meant to test their 'believability' factor - something that it seems from past evidence that many of them will struggle with. The guest judge for the homework assignment is Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina on GLEE and an original cast member of Spring Awakening), who chooses Hannah for her first homework assignment win and a one-on-one tutor session.

GLEE's ensemble already includes Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Mike O'Malley, Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, and Jenna Ushkowitz - and the show will add even more to the mix with the introduction of a slew of new characters for the third season.

Broadway veteran and GLEE star Lea Michele recetly chatted with Harpers Bazaar about everything from post-GLEE plans to adapting to her looks. Michele revealed, 'It's my nature. People have to tell me to slow down. I plan on playing every role on Broadway. I want to do Evita. I want to do Sweeney Todd with [Glee costar] Chris Colfer. We want to do Wicked. I'll be Elphaba and he wants to play ‘Guy-linda.' I want to do movies, make music. Glee is only the beginning.'

GLEE might not be back in full swing until Septeber, but the cast is already busy promoting the fourth season. Diana Agron and Cory Monteith, who play on-again off-again couple on the show, recently visited 'The Late Show' and 'Late Night with JImmy Fallon' respectively. According to EW.com, the executive producer of The Glee ProjectMichael Davies hinted that theshow will indeed return for a second season. He commented: 'Talks have begun, and we're planning, budgeting, and discussing how to do the casting process, which is the biggest thing. It is not officially picked up, but having been through this, just based on the ratings growth we've seen ... more than 100 percent in key demos ... I feel incredibly confident that we are coming back, and this is certainly in my plans.'

GLEE might not be back in full swing until Septeber, but the boys of the show re giving fans something to laugh about.
