It's appropriate that Mosaic's genius Artistic Director Ari Roth has enlisted a veteran director of over 50 years and a hot up-and-coming director to bring the plays to vivid life onstage at the Atlas Performing Arts Center.

You might know Roz Ryan from the hit television show Amen, but for the past eighteen years she has been playing the keeper of the keys Matron “Mama” Morton in the hit musical Chicago either on Broadway or on tour. He is currently in his fifth season as the Producing Artistic Director of Theater Alliance which performs at the Anacostia Playhouse. Their current production Mnemonic runs through April 9th. The show is directed by Hovde.

Today's subject Robert Carter has, for the past 21 years, been living his theatre life as a member of the world famous all-male comic ballet troupe known as Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. That makes him the longest running member of this internationally known troupe.

Today's subject Corey Mach is currently living his theatre life as part of a play that deals with a true “legend” of pop music. I'm referring to that off-pitch sensation Mrs. Miller. Corey Mach portrays her accompanist Simon Bock in Mrs.Miller Does her Thing, which is now playing at Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia through March 26th.

Today's subject (click on the name for lots of great music) Josh Schmidt is currently living his theatre life at Signature Theatre as the composer/co-lyricist and orchestrator of the world premiere musical Midwestern Gothic. The production runs from March 14 to April 30.

Today's subject Michael Mayes is living his theatre life playing a murderer on death row in the Washington National Opera production of Dead Man Walking. Michael has performed the role of Joseph De Rocher in multiple productions –including one at Central City Opera in Denver, Colorado – and now local arts aficionados can see him play it at the Kennedy Center's Opera House through March 11th.

Today's subject Lise Bruneau is currently living her theatre life onstage at Arena Stage as Sara Müller in Lillian Hellman's Watch on the Rhine. The production runs through March 5th.

Daniel Harder is currently on tour with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The company will be performing at The Kennedy Center starting tomorrow evening (Feb 7th) through 12th in the Opera House.
