An Evening of Magic and Comedy with Justin Willman at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza
Magician and comedian Justin Willman will play the Scherr Forum, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
Sweet-toothed frosting fans will recognize Willman as the magical host of Cupcake Wars on the Food Network for the past eight seasons, but Willman is also a magician and comedian known for his multiple appearances on The Tonight Show, Ellen, Conan, and @Midnight. He's performed live at the White House for the first family, his online videos have racked up over 50 million views, and his debut comedy/magic special Sleight of Mouth just premiered on Comedy Central to rave reviews.
The L.A. Times calls him, "A new breed of comic who's making magic cool again for grown-ups. " Playboy dubbed him, "The freshest and funniest magician working today." Time Out says his live show, "Has to be seen to be disbelieved."
From his monthly sell-out shows in the back of a trendy LA comic book shop to huge theaters and music venues across the country, Willman has become one of the busiest touring performers in America. His Tricked Out show is a not-to-be-missed comedy and magic event described as 'an intimate evening of prestidigitation, make-believe and excessive sleight of mouth.'
