I had the pleasure of attending the Saturday evening performance of 'Simon Sings Porgy and Bess' and was treated to an evening of stunning music. The play received its World Premiere as part of Steppenwolf's First Look Repertory of New Work in 2009 and was restaged as one of the company's regular season offerings in 2011.
