American Stage Theatre Company announces its 2014-2015 season for its six Mainstage productions, their 30th Anniversary with American Stage in the Park and a bonus production that will be a world premiere. American Stage offers an unforgettable theatrical journey with one world premiere, four area premieres, two Tony Award-winning plays, two musicals, our 8th installment of an August Wilson's Century Cycle, a Neil Simon classic and even a farce by Lewis Black. Our 2014-2015 season will be a season above the rest!

Set in New York City, The Normal Heart unfolds like a real-life political thriller as Ned Weeks and a close-knit group of friends shout into the darkness about what they see happening to their friends and community. Their warnings erupt into all-out fury as everyone from government leaders, healthcare providers and the mainstream media ignore the mounting crisis. The Normal Heart was revived on Broadway in 2011 for a limited, sold-out run. It won three Tony Awards and has been made into an HBO motion picture starring Julia Roberts and Mark Ruffalo. This deeply moving play is part of freeFall's SEASON OF OUTCASTS, and plays through February 16.

Award-winning acting teacher and director Larry Silverberg will be directing. Silverberg recently directed BECKY SHAW at freeFall and has brought his True Acting Institute to freeFall's own campus in a series of popular workshops.
