After a highly successful '17 season, the Heather's artistic director Ward Smith announces the Heather's first production of 2018 with Sam Bobrick's comedy BAGGAGE. Two difficult and single people, Bradley and Phyllis, both trying to heal from their respective disappointing relationships, get their luggage mixed up at the airport. After a very disagreeable first encounter, the two decide to help each other get over their heartaches by forcing a friendship that eventually leads to the two discovering that while they may be too difficult for everyone else in the world, but they are perfect for each other. Throw in an analyst, a kooky female friend of Phyllis and direction from film, television and stage actor Ricky Wayne and you have the ingredients for this very funny comedy.

Showtimes are: April 13 -14, 20-21, 27-28 at 8PM

The Heather is named after SAG-AFTRA actor, Heather Philipsen, whose courage and bravery during her time of struggle is an inspiration. The members of The Heather hope to allow her spirit and legacy of strength and genuine caring for others to live on through their performances and generosity to their community. The Heather is a 501c3 not-for-profit professional theatre company dedicated to producing intimate, socially challenging, artistically brave and inspiring works of live theatre.
