Today, m.a.d. Theatre of Tampa is proud to announce their 2014-2015 season.

The Rocky Horror Show, October 2 - 18, 2014 | Direction by Christen Petitt Hailey
With music, lyrics and a book by Richard O'Brien, this show is a humorous tribute to the science fiction and b movie horror films of the late 1940s to the early 1970s. The musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple who are swept into the world of Dr. Frank N. Furter, a self-proclaimed transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania. This musical is best known from its adaptation into the 1975 cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Our production stars Justin Batten as Frank N. Furter, and Ian Burns and Allison Novak as Brad and Janet and is directed by 2013 Creative Loafing Reader's Pick for Best Local Playwright, Christen Hailey.

Rent, February 5 - 21, 2015 | Direction by Tony Gilkinson
This Tony award winner for Best Musical, with music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson, is based on Giacomo Puccini's opera La Bohème. It tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York City's Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. We are excited to welcome back director Tony Gilkinson after his award-winning productions of Avenue Q: The Musical, Nunsense A-Men! and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown with m.a.d. Theatre of Tampa.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical, June 5 - 21, 2015 | Director to be Announced
Written by David Nehls and Betsy Kelso, this two-act musical comedy explores the relationships between the tenants of the Armadillo Acres Trailer Park in Stark, Florida, particularly between Pippi, the 'stripper on the run,' the Dr. Phil loving, agoraphobic Jeannie, and Jeannie's tollbooth collector husband, Norbert. It was performed in the first annual New York Music Theater Festival in 2004 before making its off-Broadway debut on September 27, 2005.
