Carrollwood Players Announce CELEBRATE: A CWP Soiree

A fun-filled evening of celebration and looking back on Carrollwood Players' incredible 2016-2017 season is set for Friday, October 13, 2017 at The Epicenter Event Venue - 9430 Lazy Ln, Tampa, FL 33618 (just minutes from Carrollwood Players Theatre).

There will be food, cocktails, plenty of entertainment- including the presentation of The Nancy Awards, and the opportunity to re-connect and have a wonderful time with your Carrollwood Players family!

You'll feel as though you're strolling through a rustic farmers market, enveloped in fresh crudités, baby carrots as orange as the sun, broccoli spears as large as tiny trees...fresh cheeses, so delectable and full of dairy goodness that can only come from heaven. You've seen appetizers like this before, but never with this perspective. Dazzling. Majestic. Overhyped. A journey like no other.... You'll be wrapped in the aroma of golden brown, locally sourced, fresh hearth-baked soft dinner minuet rolls bathed in a "just-churned by dedicated, multi-talented actors" artisinal, creamy, unctuous butter. From there, you'll meander into a veritable wonderland of culinary sensations. Feast your eyes on the Roast Beef carving station, where a skilled meat master releases a silky sliver for your enjoyment. Breathe deeply and smell the Pesto chicken, bathing gloriously in a rich, decadent sauce. Accompanied by the most luxurious wild long grain rice that will remind you of an exotic getaway..Morroco? India? Western Europe? Buffalo, New York? We can't quite pinpoint it, but it will fill you with excitement and anticipation. The sight of sugary mountains of multi-colored desserts are almost like the waving prayer flags, guiding you to sweet finishing touches. All of these gourmet-like flavors and textures will be accompanied by cold, refreshing water, so perfect, it will taste like it just emerged from an untouched stream, fresh tea brewed from only the finest leaves known to man, and coffee brewed from hand-selected, perfectly roasted beans grown on remote, never-before heard of mountainsides in far away exotic locales.
