Carrollwood Cultural Center Hosts JAZZ WITH JIM BOSSA NOVAS AND SAMBAS 8/7
Enjoy a relaxing evening at the Carrollwood Cultural Center with JAZZ WITH JIM, BOSSA NOVAS AND SAMBAS
Featuring noted Tampa jazz musician Jim Burge and the Jazz Directions, with Jim Burge at the saxophone and trumpet, Ron Delp at the keyboard, Jeff Henson at the percussions and Mike Ruvin at the double bass.
We will explore the music of Brazil with Jazz sambas and bossa novas. Great tunes of Antonios Carlos Jobim such as "Girl from Ipinima", "Quiet Nights of quiet stars", and more. Other composers will be heard, including Goao Gilberto, and some originals as well.
