BASH OF THE TITANS to Open at freeFall Theatre in St. Petersburg
Kissy Simmons and Victor E. Chan star in the 80s jukebox musical directed by Eric Davis.
freeFall Theatre Company will premiere BASH OF THE TITANS, a new musical parody inspired by 1980s fantasy films and pop culture, beginning June 12.
Created by Eric Davis, Matthew McGee, and Michael Raabe, the production follows Perseus, the favored son of Zeus, as he embarks on a series of mythological quests after angering a powerful goddess while attempting to win the affection of Andromeda. The show combines Greek mythology with an ’80s jukebox musical format featuring comedy, adventure, and fantasy-inspired spectacle.
The cast will include Kissy Simmons, known for her long-running performance as Nala in Disney’s THE LION KING, alongside Victor E. Chan, Matthew McGee, Heather Baird, Taylor Harley, and Kathlynn Rodin in her freeFall Theatre Company debut.
The production is directed by Eric Davis, who also serves as production and video designer. Tom Hansen returns as set and lighting designer, with sound design by Nathan Doyle. Music arrangements and orchestrations are by Michael Raabe.
Performance Information
BASH OF THE TITANS will run from June 12 through August 2, 2026 at freeFall Theatre Company, located at 6099 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Matinee performances are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., with evening performances at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $55, with $25 tickets available for audience members under 18 and for all preview performances. The production is also included as part of the company’s monthly subscription program.
Founded in 2008, freeFall Theatre Company presents contemporary and classical productions alongside concerts, cabarets, and special events as part of its Tandem Series programming.
