Top Silk is a revival of David Williamson's razor-sharp exploration of the cut-throat world of the legal elite. Directed by Ensemble's Artistic Director Mark Kilmurry and starring Rachel Gordon and Nicholas Brown, the play continues Williamson's satirical analysis of the public versus the private, setting a portrait of family life within the world of law. Jane Fredericks, a passionate legal aid solicitor, risks everything to help an old flame while her husband Trevor, a prominent barrister, faces his own ethical conundrum between career advancement and integrity.
