Noël Coward's classic comedy Private Lives follows Elyot and Amanda, a divorced couple who discover they are honeymooning with their new spouses in adjacent rooms, reigniting their turbulent relationship. Hugh Bonneville and Lisa McCune star in the leading roles, joined by Leon Ford, Claire van der Boom, and Julie Forsyth. The production is directed by Christopher Luscombe, an Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company, with set design by David Fleischer and costumes by Jennifer Irwin. The season runs for an exclusive five weeks at Theatre Royal Sydney.

June 30, 2026 Hugh Bonneville will make his Australian stage debut alongside Lisa McCune in a new production of Noël Coward's PRIVATE LIVES at Theatre Royal Sydney, directed by RSC associate Christopher Luscombe.
