Nach langjähriger Freundschaft und mehr als 111 Konzerten an Anlässen und Festen, in Bars und Restaurants, an Festivals und Open-Airs begeben sich Otrava in neue Gewässer und versuchen sich an neuen Besetzungen, neuem Repertoire, neuen Sounds. Ihre Musik – Volksmusik aus dem Balkan, Klezmer und die Lieder der Roma – entfesselt ein wildes Feuerwerk der Lebensfreude und Virtuosität, gleichwie Melancholie, Herzschmerz und Wehmut erloschener Liebe.
Beats zum Tanzen, Melodien zum Schwelgen. Pochende Herzen, sprühende Spielfreude, Glitzern in den Augen.
Debates, discourses, readings, performances, intimate concerts. Theater Basel invites everyone to come along and discuss current issues or experience the talents of in-house or visiting artists on the corner stage of the theatre café.
