Welcome to Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Music! An accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music, we offer a breadth of activities to serve students and regional audiences. Information about visiting artist performances and concerts by FAU student ensembles, ensembles-in-residence, and faculty is available here. You can also find out more about the following initiatives and programs below. The Department of Music is an accredited institutional member of NASM (National Association of Schools of Music). The Department offers Bachelor of Music degrees with majors in Performance or Commercial Music, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with major Music Education; and a minor in Commercial Music. At the graduate level, the Department offers a Master of Arts degree with Major in Music, including concentrations in Commercial Music and Performance.
