About the program

The South Carolina School of the Arts offers five courses of study in theatre. In our Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre program, students study musical theatre history, musical theatre repertoire, musical theatre song study and musical theatre scene study along with voice, piano and music theory. Additionally, they take acting and audition classes. The Theatre Department also offers a BA in theatre with concentrations in acting, directing, dance and theatrical design.
