Established in 2017, the Aphra Behn Festivals goal is to give womxn interested in directing and writing for theatre an opportunity to get some more experience, try out ideas, experiment, and hone their craft.To kick off its 2021 season, The Season of the Do-Over, SATE will present its fifth annual Aphra Behn Festival streaming live on Zoom over three evenings, April 30-May 2, 2021 at 8:00 PM.In 2021, SATE will produce three original plays written and directed by womxn artists.
